This week, we launched the new Stony Point, LLC website (www.stonyp.com).
We're very excited about the design, done by Andrew Dotson (www.andrewdotson.com). We're also excited about the functionality. The site is a hybrid of a traditional php driven site along with Force.com sites.
The entire schedule section (http://schedule.stonyp.com) is built using Force.com sites. Robert Foy and I did the development on it and worked with Andrew to apply the styling. For those who have taken our developer classes, this is the benefit of the Model-View-Controller pattern. Andrew is relatively new to Force.com, but was easily able to apply the styles because the code doesn't live in the Visual Force pages.
Because the data lives in Salesforce.com and is served by Force.com sites, we are able to track all of our classes within Salesforce.com and automatically display them on the website. We can track the dates, times, customers, rates, etc. within Salesforce.com but only show the class details to our students and customers on the website.
Take a look and let me know your thoughts.
